I believe that the human story is universal. The songs on this album represent pivotal moments in my life and I hope that they speak to similar moments in yours. These songs were recorded in the studio and are excerpts from my live performance “Follow The Light Within You – An Evening With Steven Wilborn,” written by my big brother, Paul and me.

This collection of songs is a reflection of my personal / spiritual journey.
Making this album was a grand experience. The Highbridge Voices Children’s Choir added a dimension of innocent joy, a gift most sublime.
I hope that these songs will help you to remember always the love in your life, in your heart and your soul. As the composer of one of these songs stated so well, "Love is the opening door/Love is what we came here for."

The message of Christmas endures through time. It is a message of hope and joy in a world needing peace.
These are songs that were a part of my childhood – songs my family sang around the piano, songs I heard in church, and songs from the Christmas movies we watched on television.

These are songs I grew up singing at home and in church, and the selections on this album range from gospel hymns, folk songs and some classics.
These songs reflect my personal journey back to spiritual music. While the lyrics are simple and beautiful, the songs connect more on an emotional level than a cognitive one.
